Hardwood flooring
Solid and engineered hardwood installed by a local crew that knows what it's doing. Decades of durability, a finish that warms every room, and the only floor that gets more beautiful with age.
What we install
Solid wood through and through — same species top to bottom. It's the traditional choice, and for good reason: it can be refinished many times, lasts for generations, and develops that lived-in patina over time that engineered products can't quite match.
Best suited for main living areas on or above grade, solid hardwood is what most people picture when they think "hardwood floors."
A real wood veneer over a cross-layered plywood core. Looks identical to solid hardwood on the surface — because the surface is real wood — but handles moisture and temperature swings much better.
Engineered is often the right call for basements, homes with concrete subfloors, and anywhere humidity might fluctuate. It also installs faster and can go over more types of subfloor.
That depends on the room, your subfloor, your budget, and how you live. We'll walk through it with you in person — no upsell, just the honest answer for your situation.
Why hardwood
Hardwood isn't the cheapest flooring option — but it's often the smartest. Real estate agents consistently rank it among the top features buyers look for. And unlike carpet or laminate, hardwood can be refinished, not replaced, when it shows wear.
