Luxury vinyl plank

Tough, waterproof, and beautiful.

Luxury vinyl plank (LVP) and luxury vinyl tile (LVT) are our most popular choice — and for good reason. They look like real wood or stone, stand up to spills, scratches, pets, and kids, and install in a fraction of the time.

What to know

The floor that handles real life.

What LVP is

LVP is a multi-layer synthetic flooring product with a high-resolution printed design layer and a tough wear layer on top. The result is a plank that looks remarkably like wood — sometimes even to the trained eye — but is 100% waterproof and highly resistant to everyday damage.

Where it works

Kitchens, bathrooms, basements, mudrooms, main living areas — basically anywhere. LVP is one of the only floors that works equally well below grade (basements) and in wet areas (bathrooms, laundry rooms) as it does in the rest of the home. Many of our customers install the same LVP throughout the entire first floor for a seamless look.

How it installs

Most LVP is click-lock, which means it floats over the existing subfloor. No glue, no nails, and often no need to rip up what's already there. That makes installation fast — many projects can go in over a single day or two.

Why LVP

The flooring most people actually want.

Ten years ago, LVP was the budget option. Today it's the default choice for a lot of homeowners — because it solves so many problems at once.

  • 100% waterproof. Spills, pet accidents, leaks — LVP doesn't warp, swell, or stain.
  • Scratch & dent resistant. Tough wear layer stands up to kids, pets, furniture, and daily traffic.
  • Looks like real wood. Modern printing and embossing technology is genuinely convincing.
  • Works below grade. One of the few floors you can install directly on concrete basements.
  • Fast installation. Most jobs complete in 1–3 days, minimal demo required.
  • Easy to clean. Sweep, damp mop, done. No special products or maintenance.
